Easy Football-Shaped Reeses Rice Krispie Treats Perfect No-Bake Game Day Snack

These no-bake football-shaped Reese’s Rice Krispie treats combine nostalgic marshmallow crispiness with chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups for a fun and delicious game day snack.

  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups (about 8 standard size cups)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
  • White chocolate or candy melts (for piping football laces)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter.
  3. Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract if using.
  5. Immediately add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and 1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups to the melted marshmallow mixture.
  6. Stir quickly but gently until all cereal is evenly coated.
  7. Transfer mixture into prepared pan and press firmly and evenly to about 1-inch thickness using lightly greased plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  8. Allow to cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  9. Once firm, lift slab out of pan and cut into football shapes using a sharp knife.
  10. Melt 1/2 cup white chocolate or candy melts until smooth and pipe football laces on each treat using a piping bag or small plastic bag with a snipped corner.
  11. Let white chocolate set for about 15 minutes before serving.
  12. Optional: Melt 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle over treats before white chocolate laces set for extra chocolate flavor.

Notes

Work quickly when mixing marshmallows and cereal as the mixture sets fast. Grease hands or tools when pressing to avoid sticking. Press gently to maintain chewy texture. Chop Reese’s finely for even distribution. Practice piping laces on parchment paper if new to piping.
