This Easy Halloween Charcuterie Board with Candy Corn Grapes is a quick, no-bake party spread that combines sweet, salty, and savory elements. The star of the show is the Candy Corn Grapes—green grapes dipped in white chocolate and topped with candy corn—making it a festive and crowd-pleasing snack for Halloween parties, movie nights, or trunk-or-treat gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large bunch green seedless grapes (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup candy corn (classic Brach’s recommended)
  • 1 cup white melting wafers (about 6 ounces, e.g., Ghirardelli)
  • 2 tablespoons orange sanding sugar or sprinkles (optional)
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced or cubed
  • 4 ounces Gouda or smoked cheese, sliced
  • 4 ounces salami or prosciutto, folded or rolled
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks or mini pretzels
  • ½ cup dark chocolate pieces (e.g., chocolate-covered almonds or broken dark chocolate bars)
  • A handful of Halloween-themed cookies (e.g., Oreos or chocolate sandwich cookies)
  • Fresh fruit: orange slices, apple slices (tossed in lemon juice), and blackberries
  • ½ cup almonds or pecans

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the green grapes. Pat them dry with a paper towel and let them air dry completely to ensure the white chocolate sticks.
  2. Place the white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. If too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Working one grape at a time, hold by the stem end or use a toothpick to dip about two-thirds of the grape into the melted white chocolate. Let excess drip off, then place on parchment.
  4. While the white chocolate is still wet, press 2-3 pieces of candy corn into the top of each grape to resemble the white tip of a candy corn. Optionally, sprinkle with orange sanding sugar. Repeat with remaining grapes.
  5. Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.
  6. While the grapes chill, prepare the charcuterie components: slice the sharp cheddar and Gouda into thin squares or triangles. Fold the salami into quarters or roll into rosettes.
  7. Arrange pretzels, nuts, and dark chocolate pieces in small piles or ramekins. Slice oranges into thin wedges. Slice apples and toss in lemon juice to prevent browning. Rinse and dry blackberries gently.
  8. Take a large board or platter (at least 12×16 inches). Place small ramekins or bowls as anchor points—fill one with extra candy corn, one with nuts, and one with dark chocolate pieces.
  9. Arrange cheese slices in clusters around the board. Place salami rosettes near the cheese. Fan out fruit slices between cheese and meat. Add pretzels in small piles in empty spaces.
  10. Remove Candy Corn Grapes from the refrigerator and arrange them in small clusters around the board. Sprinkle any leftover candy corn for extra color.
  11. Fill any empty gaps with extra pretzels, nuts, or fruit. Add Halloween-themed cookies in a small pile near the edge. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve (take out 15 minutes before serving to let cheese come to room temperature).

Notes

Dry grapes thoroughly to prevent white chocolate from sliding off. Use room temperature cheese for best flavor. Make Candy Corn Grapes up to 24 hours in advance and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Balance flavors with salty, sweet, creamy, and crunchy elements. Add mini pumpkins or gourds for decoration. For a dairy-free version, use plant-based cheese and skip the white chocolate on grapes (use honey or agave to stick candy corn).
