Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz aged cheddar
  • 1 small wheel brie or camembert
  • 6 oz smoked gouda
  • 6 oz Genoa salami
  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 4 oz pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • ½ cup orange and black jelly beans
  • ½ cup ghost-shaped marshmallows
  • 30 assorted crackers
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 cup baby carrots and celery sticks
  • 1 small pumpkin-shaped cheese ball
  • Honey for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp spicy mustard

Instructions

  1. Set out your cheeses 20 minutes before serving to bring them to room temperature.
  2. Choose your board and place ramekins for honey, mustard, and candy in different corners.
  3. Add the largest items: place brie wheel center-left, pumpkin cheese ball center-right, and arrange cheddar and gouda wedges around them.
  4. Layer the meats: fold salami into quarters and stack near cheddar, tear prosciutto into ribbons near brie, and fan pepperoni if using.
  5. Fill in with crackers: place clusters of buttery rounds near brie, whole wheat squares near cheddar, and everything bagel crisps near gouda.
  6. Add fruits and veggies: scatter green grapes in small bunches and tuck baby carrots and celery sticks along edges.
  7. Place candy and sweets: sprinkle candy corn in a zigzag pattern across the middle, add ghost marshmallows near brie, and pile chocolate-covered pretzels near salami. Fill ramekins with jelly beans and extra candy corn.
  8. Drizzle honey over brie right before serving.
  9. Check for gaps and fill with extra crackers, grapes, or candy corn to make the board look abundant.

Notes

Keep candy corn in a separate ramekin or on parchment to prevent sticking. Do not leave the board out for more than 2 hours if it contains soft cheese and meat. For best flavor, serve at room temperature.
