A creamy no-bake cheesecake with an Oreo crust and a dramatic spiderweb chocolate design. Ready in 20 minutes of active prep, it’s a showstopper for Halloween or any fall gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. In a medium bowl, combine the crumbs with 5 tablespoons melted butter until the mixture looks like wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator while making the filling.
  2. In a large chilled bowl, whip 1 ½ cups cold heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat 16 ounces softened cream cheese on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Add ½ cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, beat for another 2 minutes until smooth and no lumps remain.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in three additions, using a rubber spatula and gentle folding motion until the filling is light, fluffy, and uniform in color.
  5. Spoon the filling over the chilled crust and spread evenly. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, melt ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the melted chocolate to a small piping bag or ziplock bag with a tiny corner snipped off. Pipe concentric circles of chocolate on the cheesecake, starting from the center and working outward, leaving about 1 inch between rings.
  8. Using a toothpick or skewer, drag from the center outward through all the chocolate rings, spacing the drag marks about 1 inch apart. Wipe the toothpick clean between each drag. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to set the chocolate before slicing and serving.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is essential for a smooth filling. Do not overwhip the cream; stop at stiff peaks. Chill for at least 6 hours, but overnight is better for clean slices. Let the melted chocolate cool slightly before piping to avoid melting into the filling. Clean the toothpick between each drag for crisp spiderweb lines.
